Protecting Your Time and Ours
Certifly IA is a mobile FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) service. Each appointment requires dedicated time, travel planning, and aircraft-specific preparation. To ensure fairness and operational consistency, the following policies apply to all scheduled services.
1. Payment Terms
Certifly IA does not currently accept payments through this website. All inspections are invoiced directly after service confirmation. Payment is due upon completion of the inspection, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted forms of payment include Zelle, check, or other direct arrangements confirmed in advance.
2. Deposit Policy
Some inspections may require a non-refundable deposit at the time of scheduling—particularly those involving long-distance travel, weekend time blocks, or high-demand windows. This deposit secures your slot and will be applied toward your final balance. If a deposit is required, you will be informed at the time of booking.
3. Cancellation & Refund Terms
– Cancellations made 48 hours or more in advance: Deposits may be credited toward a future inspection, at Certifly IA’s discretion.
– Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment: Deposits are non-refundable and will not be credited.
– No-show or last-minute aircraft unavailability: If the aircraft is not accessible, not airworthy, or not present at the scheduled time and location, Certifly IA reserves the right to charge a standby fee, travel fee, or full inspection minimum depending on circumstances.
4. Weather & Regulatory Rescheduling
If inspections are delayed due to FAA airspace restrictions, adverse weather, or other external factors, Certifly IA will reschedule at no additional charge. Deposits, if any, will carry over to the new appointment.
5. Rescheduling Policy
Rescheduling must be done via email at least 48 hours in advance to avoid deposit forfeiture. Email all requests to CertiflyIA@gmail.com. Certifly IA will do its best to accommodate changes, but appointment availability is not guaranteed.
6. Travel & Location Limits
Certifly IA is a mobile operation. Service outside standard travel zones may incur an additional mileage or travel time fee, which will be disclosed before scheduling. Inaccessible locations or unprepared aircraft may result in additional charges or a refusal of service.
