Certifly IA Refund and Cancellation Policy (2025)

Legal Notice: This policy is binding upon scheduling and serves as a formal agreement under applicable state contract laws. Certifly IA reserves the right to enforce this policy in accordance with business protection statutes and small claims enforcement provisions where applicable.

Certifly IA is a mobile FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) service. Each scheduled inspection requires dedicated inspector time, pre-inspection preparation, travel logistics, and FAA-compliant readiness. To ensure fairness and protect operational integrity, the following policy governs all scheduled services.

Payment Terms: All inspections are invoiced directly following appointment confirmation. Payment is due in full upon completion of the inspection unless otherwise agreed upon in a signed, written arrangement. Certifly IA accepts Zelle, check, or other pre-approved direct payment methods. No payment is collected via this website. Non-payment beyond 7 business days may result in the withholding of final reports and may incur collection action.

Deposit Policy: Certain inspections—particularly those involving long-distance travel, non-standard hours, or peak scheduling periods—may require a non-refundable deposit to secure your time slot. Deposits will be clearly communicated at the time of scheduling and will be credited toward your final invoice. By submitting a deposit, you agree that it is non-refundable except under the limited circumstances outlined below.

Cancellation and Refund Terms: • Cancellations made 48 hours or more in advance: Deposit may be credited to a future inspection at Certifly IA’s sole discretion. • Cancellations within 48 hours: Deposit is forfeited and non-transferable. • No-show or aircraft unavailability (including but not limited to aircraft not being present, unsafe for inspection, lacking access, or missing required documentation): Certifly IA may charge a travel fee, standby fee, or minimum inspection fee.

Refund requests must be made in writing and will be considered only under extraordinary circumstances. Certifly IA is not obligated to refund deposits or fees unless legally required under RCW 19.86 (Washington Consumer Protection Act) or applicable federal statutes.

Weather & Regulatory Rescheduling: If inspections must be postponed due to FAA-imposed restrictions, adverse weather, natural disaster, or other force majeure conditions, Certifly IA will reschedule the appointment at no additional cost. Deposits will carry over to the new appointment. Certifly IA reserves the right to determine when such conditions apply.

Rescheduling Policy: To avoid forfeiting your deposit, rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing via email to Admin@CertiflyIA.com no fewer than 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. Certifly IA will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes, but new availability is not guaranteed.

Travel & Location Limitations: Certifly IA operates as a mobile service provider. Services rendered outside standard service zones may incur additional mileage, travel time, or logistical fees, which will be disclosed during the booking process. Aircraft that are inaccessible, improperly positioned, or deemed unsafe upon arrival may result in on-site service refusal and applicable minimum fees.

Acknowledgment of Terms: By scheduling an inspection, the client agrees to all terms outlined in this Refund and Cancellation Policy. These terms constitute a service agreement and are enforceable under Washington State contract law. Certifly IA may modify this policy at any time, with updates posted publicly. Continued use of Certifly IA’s services constitutes acceptance of the most recent version.
